Short-Term Action Groups
We come together to create communities of influencing around specific events through Short-Term Action Groups (STAG). STAG members meet regularly, exchange resources, develop advocacy strategies and work together to influence key decisions, documents and commitments at major global policy opportunities.
Our Short-Term Action Groups are established, steered and chaired by our members (usually from specific countries), using the convening power and global reach of the Action Network. These groups allow members to collaborate on shared priorities and targeted projects with the support of our Secretariat.
As an Action Network member, you have the opportunity to participate in one or several Short-Term Action Groups. These are often country-led and topic-specific so you will need to fulfil certain criteria to join them. The members of each STAG decide on its objectives and priorities. The Group's leads organise virtual meetings and online exchanges, underpinned by the work of the Secretariat.
